Our company is based on the belief that our human existence here on earth is in jeopardy due to climate change, global warming, ineffective energy and excessive resource depletion.
We are to tend and care for it as in Genesis 2:15. We were given Dominion over the earth and we have not taken care of our garden. Our planet is in peril for the inheritance we are to leave the next generation and we must act smart, act quick, act here and act NOW!
We are considered Creation Caretakers, politically independent, and a moderate environmental group (not extremists). We have the desire to preserve our strength as a people, and quality of life by working together with those around us for the better good of our existence.

Gideon & Vanessa officially founded The Green Dominion Foundation in April 2009. They live in Denver CO with their 5 or so kids! They have a 10 year old and a 5 year old as well as caring for up to 3 teen girls.
Gideon is from Ghana West Africa and came to the US in 2000. He is excited to bring the inspiration, innovation and innitiation to his home country to help preserve the beauty and strength of his people and their land! He currently is working on launching Green projects in 2010 in Ghana. Gideon graduated from The University of Ghana where he double majored in Socialogy and Political Science. Gideon loves soccer ("The real Football"), politics,law, theology, singing in the choir at church, playing with his kids and spending time with his family. He serves a vital role in working with teen girls and providing a healthy father figure to them. He is a tile expert and hopes to renovate the industry to serve both peoples taste for style and quality with easing the effects on the environment.
Vanessa is a native to Denver. She loves the beauty that Colorado holds and loves to take trips to the Mountains. She was a former Financial Analyst, early education teacher, and has worked on and off in the restaurant/service industry where she used to serve on the Destination Earth Board for Destination Hotels. She loves to share information with others and teach in easy to learn formats. She has a spark for learning and is a self taught expert in many areas. She enjoys wine and entertaining, reading, singing and leading praise and worship at church, traveling, studying different languages and cultures, traveling, art, theology, politics, science, and spending time with her kids and family. She works intensly with helping teen girls get out on their own through her foster care work and activism. From the time she was little she had a desire to contribute to the environmental movement. She was greatly impacted by the Exxon oil spill in her younger days and has always been interested in how she could play a role to improve our world. By teaching and educating she feels she can make a lasting impact on others lives.
They founded The Green Dominion Foundation with the belief that it is mathmatically crucial that everyone do a little versus the dogmatic approach of having to have a few do everything perfectly- or move into a tee pee, wear no deoderant and farm off the land. They are bridging the gap between people that may otherwise not be interested in the Green Movement and showing them how they can participate with a few easy adjustments to their daily lives. The power of inspiring everyone to do a litte is a hole in the movement they intend to fill. Through education and inpiration they hope to achieve a 'strength in large numbers' effect that we so desperatly need. THis movement is forever evolving and changing and The Green Dominion Foundation opperates under the assumption of "What if it is true? and we do nothing? We have lost far more than if we opperate like it is true and maybe someday find out it isn't- What have we lost? Nothing. To use our resources responsibly & to be intentional in our daily lives is a stregth that future generations could & should inherit.
